Who We Are

Hunar Saaz Programme is developed with an aim to create more job opportunities and provide means for young people to be successful in their chosen career paths.

We aims to offer quality professional training and skill development opportunities to young people across Pakistan so that they can get better jobs and contribute towards national development.

PARTNERSHIP & SUPPORT

A collaborative network of groups with an interest in education, Hunar Saaz is dynamic and bottom-up. Organizations and ministries that fit the criteria can join our network. In order to teach the target population financial and life skills, Hunar Saaz offers assistance and resources to the partner organization. We organize local, national, and worldwide learning opportunities, manage and support Regional Master Trainers globally, and offer partners a full variety of technical support. On a national and local level, we also support groups with their advocacy work. In order to help the groups in our network succeed, we also assist them with grant applications, proposal writing, and the development of local or national alliances.

MONITORING & EVALUATION

Hunar Saaz International’s social and financial education program is a well-researched international life skills program that collaborates with academics, research institutes, and local researchers. The program provides partners with tools to assess their programs, and its results are published annually in a series called ‘Children and Change’. Hunar Saaz also initiates global studies and surveys to assess the network’s health and vibrancy. The program has conducted six randomized controlled trials, a systematic review, a realist review, over 30 research projects, and 10 research projects on Aflatoun for early childhood education.

DIGITAL LEARNING

Hunar Saaz International embraces new technologies which have the potential to strengthen educational systems and increase reach and impact. Access to mobile technology is rapidly transforming our ability to reach children, young people and trainers who have been previously excluded from skills-building programmes. We believe that equipping teachers with pedagogical tools and access to information can bring about large social change. Thus, we are continuously developing digital learning materials along with our core curricula.

Hunar Saaz International aims to empower children and young people in developing countries by providing them with tools for a sustainable future. The programs emphasize the importance of non-renewable resources like fossil fuels, water, and clean air. They teach about recycling, waste re-use, and environmental improvement, reducing energy use, creating sustainable energy, and promoting waste management.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

In many countries, children and young people lack the knowledge and skills to actively participate in their societies due to weak education systems, poor social services, and limited employment opportunities. Hunar Saaz International provides children and young people with tools for a sustainable future, ensuring the next generation gets along and ahead in life. Sustainable development is a central theme in all Hunar Saaz International programs, focusing on the value of non-renewable resources like fossil fuels, water, and clean air. The programs teach children and young people about recycling, waste re-use, and improving the environment. Projects focus on reducing energy use, creating sustainable energy, recycling, using waste materials, and improving the environment.
